Ice-T’s Teenage Grandson Arrested For Murder — What Happened?
Ice-T’s grandson ended up in handcuffs this week, after allegedly killing his roommate in a tragic accident.
Elyjah Marrow — who has appeared on his grandpa's reality TV show Ice Loves Coco — was charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless conduct, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm, reports TMZ.
The way the site hears it, the 19-year-old was fiddling around with a handgun in his Georgia apartment on Tuesday, June 24, when it accidentally fired and fatally wounded his roommate, Daryus Johnson. Daryus was also 19 years old.
Elyjah is currently in custody, and there has been no official word on the matter from Ice-T. His latest tweet was sent on June 27 and promotes his podcast, Ice-T: Final Level.
The 56-year-old performer, whose birth name is Tracy Lauren Marrow, has three children from relationships prior to his current marriage to fellow reality star Coco Austin. They are daughter Letesha Marrow and sons Tracy Marrow, Jr. and Kevin Marrow. Letesha is Elyjah’s mom.
